Next-Gen MacBook Pro To Offer 50% More Battery

WWDC is just two days away and at this years conference it is not known what lays in wait for the MacBook range. With recent images revealing an update to OS X it is also possible that the MacBook Pro and Air will receive minor updates to be shipped later this year. However, if any updates are revealed it is also likely that the next-generation MacBook Pro and Air will offer up to 50% more battery life using Intel’s new Haswell chip.

The new processor from Intel has been developed for notebooks and portable tablets running Windows latest operating system; Windows 8. The new chip is said to offer up to 50% more battery life from your device and offer a power boost of up to 15%. While it is likely not to offer such a huge battery advantage due to Apple’s Retina display it will considerably improve the overall performance and battery of the device, if it be in desktop or tablet form.
